American Flag Leasing Program

Through the Sheboygan Rotary Club American Flag Leasing Program, subscribers pay an annual fee of $50 to have a 3' X  5' flag displayed in your front yard or business. All flags are mounted on a 10 foot pole and uniformly placed on your property. Subscriptions cover five national holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veteran's Day. Net proceeds from this fundraiser help our club to support local and international causes, including local youth scholarships. Gift subscriptions are available, which are a great way to honor a veteran in your family.

Restoration of Our Trees Sheboygan (ROOTS)
Restoration of our Trees Sheboygan (ROOTS) is a proactive response to the projected loss of millions of emerald ash trees here at home. The highly aggressive emerald ash borer (EAB) is killing ash trees throughout the Midwest at an alarming rate. Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP) and the Sheboygan Rotary Club are launching this joint campaign to build collaborative public-private sector community support for projects that mitigate the potentially devastating impact of the EAB. Management activities include developing resilient reforestation plans, removing invested trees, planting diverse replacement trees, and engaging the community in outreach and education. ROOTS is forming a broad community collaboration to address this serious threat to Sheboygan County's rich forestry resources, and we'll need everyone's help to succeed. ROOTS is seeking financial and resource support from municipalities, businesses, non profit organizations, and individuals. With your help, we can lessen EAB's impact and protect our beautiful woodlands and tree-lined streets for generations to come.
How Can You Help?
* Plant diverse, native, non-ash species of trees on your property
* Do not transport ash trees or their wood cuttings to avoid the spreading of EAB
* Report suspect trees and insects to municipal forestry authorities and the WDNR
* Spread the word about ROOTS
* Provide financial support to the ROOTS campaign
